Sea Glass Sweater by Jill Vonsburg

This unusual sweater is knitted sideways to desired size. Yoke is picked up and knitted upward, ending at neckline, high or low. Sleeves are knitted diagonally to desired length (yardage given i short sleeves).

Since body is knitted sideways, it will grow in length while wearing. If knitted loosely, it can grow quite a lot. Large sizes tend to grow more than small sizes. Knit a fairly firm fabric to avoid stretching.

Sweater is 23 inches long/58 cm long. Lengthen or shorten sweater by casting on more or fewer stitches.
